One of USALSA's main aims is to provide all law students at UniSA with an exciting social calendar. We achieve this through our 3 main activities:

 

• Welcome Back Events

• Pub Crawls

• The Lipman Karas Quiz Night

 

Welcome Back Events are held at the start of every Trimester, usually in Week 3. They are themed lunches, where all students are asked to donate a gold coin towards USALSA's social justice initiatives. In 2015, all proceeds from Welcome Back Events have gone towards our partners at the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation and their Wall of Hands appeal.

 

USALSA's infamous Pub Crawl's are held in Week 10 of Trimesters 1 and 3, prior to the exam period. Pub Crawl's are themed, with past themes including 'Mooters', 'White Collar Crime' and 'Estopp... Hammer Time'. USALSA sells pub crawl shirts which provide free entry into venues as well as discounts on food and drinks.

 

The Lipman Karas Quiz Night is held at the end of Trimester 2 in lieu of a Pub Crawl. It is one of the most anticipated events held for Law Students at UniSA. In 2015 the Quiz Night was sponsored by Lipman Karas, and was held at The Hackney Hotel on 14 August.
